New song "Mountain" out now

Our new single “Mountain” is out now!

“Mountain” became a vessel for the most beautiful parts of the most fucked up emotional roller coaster love story of my life. I didn’t know it at the time, but eventually the whole love story would escalate and go to shit, so in order to preserve that pure feeling of happiness and strength in love that preceded all of the fallout, the universe gifted me this song to save the beauty of love. Now it’s like a miniature ship in a bottle that preserves a moment of magic and perfection, withstanding the eroding forces of time and the elements. So even though the actual love story didn’t manage to weather its storm, “Mountain” keeps the beautiful parts of it alive so we can share them with you!

New music coming: "Wake me from the Dead" out on October 4th!

Yes, yes, we know... it's been way too long! It's been a quiet summer on the surface, but we can assure you, we have been BUSY over the last few months! We have been working on new music and are finally ready to drop a new song this coming Friday, on October 4!

The song goes by the name of "Wake Me from the Dead" and really packs a punch 💥 It's a banger and a bit of a revenge type of song, once you listen to the lyrics you'll know what we're talking about! We've talked about going back to our musical roots more before, and with "Wake Me from the Dead", we are definitely honoring that love for crunchy, overdriven guitars and a heavy bass and drum section. In short, it f*kking rocks!

As usual, you can presave the song already, so that it will be there waiting for you once you wake up on Friday. We're excited to share the song with you and are looking forward to starting this next chapter of the story of Jack Zhoul!

The thing is, writing, producing, recording and playing the music we all love comes at a pretty high cost. Just to give you an idea, the average Jack Zhoul song you eventually hear on Spotify, AppleMusic or YouTube comes in at around CHF 2'500.- to 3'000.- when all costs are accounted for - that’s almost CHF 1’000.- per minute of music. As we are slowly but surely building toward something big and beautiful, we have decided that we want to open up and share our musical journey with all of you and have founded

We sold most of our limited merchandise that we had made specifically for the EP release show, but there are a few t-shirts and tote bags left still!

As we also touched on at the concert, making music is our greatest passion, but it also comes at a price; if you enjoy what we do, we obviously greatly appreciate any form of support! That said, buying a t-shirt or another merchandise item is a great way to support us and our music as all proceeds go directly into our band's "war chest" and will be reinvested into recording and making new records! Our new EP “Of High Hopes & Sinners” is officially out! The last song “Good to Me” finishes off the second record and adds some oomph and sing-alongability to a collection of songs that we’re really, really proud of! The fourth single off our sophomore EP “Of High Hopes and Sinners” - SIN FOR ME - is officially OUT NOW!

At its core, “Sin for Me” is a high-octane rock/pop song that tries to capture and convey the essence of the sexiness that lies in risk-taking, rebellion and rapture.

With its heavy guitars, powerful riffs, dynamic, high-energy vocals and the slightly suggestive and risqué lyrics, "Sin for Me" invites the listener into a world where daring choices and living on the edge are celebrated.
